Punai Beach

The most and beach on nothern part of Belitung island, which keeps the beauty of nature which so fantastic, and on the white sandy seaside, grown by the greenery of coconut trees and pines. Also, a kind of tree, called "Sentigi" grown up in the opening gap of the big rocks. This kind of tree usually planted by people for "bonsai". The sea water here, so calm and very suitable for swimming or fishing. As far as our sight there is Balok Bay, which famous with its sea products: shrimp and prawn.

When the sun rises, on the beach will crowded by the fishermen who have just return back from the sea, and the fishmongers that want to get catching fish from them. This is become an interesting view and impressive enough. Punai beach located on Dendang distric or 93 kilometres to the southwartd of Tanjungpandan. There has been several shelters for the visitors and also open stage, where once in a while use folks performance.
