Geographi
Belitung Island is Geographically located on southern part of the world between 107`35-108`18 East Longitude. Belitung is one of the regencies in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province which has a land of 4.800,60 km2.This regon borders on: Nothern side with South Chine Sea, Southern side with Java sea, Western side with Bangka Island separated by Gaspar Strait, Eastern side with Kalimantan Island separated by Karimata Strait.
This region topographically consist of lawland area and swamp is several sites, hill ranges in the middle of the island with 150-200 meters in height above sea level.
The earth circumstance in this region mostly influenced by volcanic eruption many years ago. Therefore the minerals such as tin, kaolin, kwarz and other naturel substance can discovered in this land
